Scientific Programme

Scientific Programme Highlights

Small Animals

The main part of the Small Animal programme will consist of three streams: The orthopaedic stream features sessions on minimal invasive fracture repair and catastrophic trauma. Well-known speakers will expand on different aspects of surgical shoulder disorders and share cutting edge knowledge on 3D printing. Further, a panel of orthopaedic surgeons has been invited to Cracow to share the “cases, that they hate to talk about” in an interactive format with us.

In soft tissue surgery, a combined session with the VSSO will focus on feline oncologic surgery, practical aspects of tumor histopathology and oncological challenges in the cranium. The general soft tissue surgery stream will deal with BOAS, hiatic hernias, biliary surgery and gallbladder mucoceles. Experts will discuss challenging skin reconstruction cases from the audience in an interactive format.

The neurosurgical session will focus on spinal trauma.
