The Department of Clinical Sciences at the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a tenure-track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Small Animal Soft Tissue and Oncologic Surgery.

Qualifications: DVM or equivalent degree. Board certification in American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) or European College of Veterinary Surgeons (ECVS) or residency training in an ACVS or ECVS registered program is required. Candidates must meet requirements for faculty or regular veterinary licensure in North Carolina.

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: ACVS and ECVS board certification is preferred. Additional training in clinical techniques and/or pedagogy is preferred. 

Clinical responsibilities include receiving patients, diagnosis, and surgical management of soft tissue surgery patients referred from veterinarians throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. 

Clinical teaching responsibilities include receiving cases, diagnosis, and surgical management of soft tissue cases with senior students, interns/surgical residents and daily rounds with senior students, interns, and residents.
